Nick Gordon

3rd Year Ph.D. Student

Nick earned his B.A. in Economics and B.S. in Neuroscience from Boston College. During his senior year, he completed an honors thesis under Dr. Michael McDannald assessing rat self-stimulation for optogenetic stimulation of ventral tegmental area dopamine neurons. Nick is currently studying the role of the prelimbic cortex in the acquisition of and discrimination between Pavlovian and avoidance conditioning
